Hi Team Christian – I am a bit late to the party on discovering your fantastic story, but the video was forwarded to me by a friend and I was amazed. Since it’s pretty unusual for me to have such a strong reaction from a video on youtube, I wanted to send a note about how much I love your story and to thank you for sharing it. Also, I am completely blown away that John and Ace had the commitment to not only get Christian, give him a great home and a ’60’s swinging life in London (I am imagining David Hemmings and Vanessa Redgrave in Blowup;-), but also to take on the financial and emotional cost of giving him a better life in Africa. I am always shocked and angry with the number of people who get pets only to get rid of them a few months later when it gets too hard or the novelty has worn off, so it’s incredible that they were so dedicated to a very large, complicated and time consuming animal!
